A co-director of the Handicrafts Corporation and another employee were caught red-handed by vigilance while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 at the Jajpur Road office. Prabhat Mishra, director, along with the Jajpur Road branch of the handicrafts department, Laxmi Priya Maharana, another female employee, demanded a bribe of Rs 20,000 and was caught red-handed by vigilance while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from an artisan named Khageshwar Mallick. Khageshwar demanded the bribe money in the morning to pass Khageshwar’s arrears of Rs 60,000. Khageshwar’s house is said to be in Khosalpur area of Jajpur Road Bysanagar
