The Ministry of Railways on Thursday refuted media studies that claimed determination has been made to renew ‘practice operations’ from April 15, saying that it has not taken any such determination thus far. In a press release, the Railways Ministry clarified that it has not issued any protocol concerning passenger journey throughout put up lockdown interval. The ministry stated that when determination will likely be taken then all stakeholders will likely be knowledgeable.
“Ministry of Railways has not issued any protocol concerning passenger journey throughout put up lockdown interval, as has been incorrectly reported in some media studies,” the railways ministry tweeted.
“As and when a call is taken, all stakeholders can be intimated. Please don’t be guided by any deceptive report,” it stated.
